||Indian Para Special Forces||   Hello there ,  The best of all forces named as the Para Special Forces . It is the special forces unit of Indian Army's Parachute Regiment tasked with missions sucha as special operations , direct action , hostage rescue , counter-terrorism , unconventional warfare , counter insurgency , seek and destroy , foreign internal defense , personal recovery. There motto is "Men apart , every man an emperor" . There identification symbol is Maroon Beret , shoulder titles and the badge of Balidan.  The Parachute Regiment presently has seven Special Forces, six Airborne, two Territorial Army and one Counter-Insurgency (Rashtriya Rifles) battalions in its fold. The regiment has tried raising new battalions to augment the strength of the special forces however the task has not been completed due to the tough selection phase. In the mid-1980s, there were plans to take the three para commando battalions from the Parachute Regimen

||CDS Examination Information||   Hello there , this is my second post and here i emphasize my knowledge on Combined Defense Services Examination  hope this may help you all. So the following is the eligibility criteria for CDS : i) For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognisedUniversity/Institution. iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering. Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificate on the date of commencement of the SSB interview at the SSB. For CDS exam, applicants can be from any stream but for entry to Air Force and Navy, candidates should have studied physics and maths up to Class 12. ||Indian Army Officers Entry || Hello there , this is my first blog and i wanted to share my knowledge of joining Indian Army in different ways and criteria.  So all these entries are specific in educational qualification, unlike NDA and CDS army criteria. The direct entries that will be served to the army aspirants for joining the army are as follows : 1. TES – Technical Entry Scheme is the opportunity for all 12th passed candidates having Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 10+2. The opportunity is for both Army and Navy. The entry is not for Air force. The age range for this entry is 16 ½ – 19 ½ years. 2. UES – University Entry Scheme is the entry for all pre-final year engineering students having their age in the range of 19-25 years. The selection of candidates is done by prior selection of candidates by a selection panel that lists the candidates fit for next phase i.e. SSB.
